Financial Systems Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Provide first-line end-user support for Workday Financial Management and its touchpoints with Adaptive Planning, Sage Intacct, and Procore.
• Manage support tickets, prioritize issues by business impact, and escalate complex cases.
• Configure and maintain Workday financial master data, including ledger accounts, legal entities, projects, cost centers, regions, and financial work tags.
• Monitor application health, data integrity, integrations, audits, and reconciliation issues.
• Support financial systems projects, including process documentation, configuration changes, testing, reporting, and training updates.
• Use approved AI tools to draft, summarize, analyze, and reduce manual effort while reviewing outputs for accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a business, financial, or IT support setting.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain system issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with business software and the ability to learn and adapt to new applications.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to pursue Workday training and certifications, including Workday Pro Financials.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to Workday as an end user or in a support role.
• Foundational understanding of financial processes such as general ledger and month-end activities.
