Platform Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes across multiple sites.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory, standard costing, warranty accruals, and revenue reserves.
• Drive balance sheet discipline through reconciliation reviews and remediation of accounting issues.
• Partner with plant controllers and FP&A teams to analyze cost movements and margin impacts.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and corporate reporting standards.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and standardize accounting documentation across the platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations and public company audit requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Plant Controller.
• Background in engineered products, HVAC, or water technology sectors.
• Experience with acquisition integration or finance transformation initiatives.
