Senior Manager, RF Design (RF)

Location: Remote within the United States, with the role listed for Oregon; Portland, Oregon compensation applies. Salary: $138,900–$182,280 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop a team of RF Probe Card Designers.
• Direct the design and release of RF and microwave probe card solutions, including complex architectures, transmission line structures, and probe technologies.
• Establish design methodologies, standards, rules, templates, libraries, metrics, and best practices across product families and sites.
• Manage multiple development projects, design milestones, reviews, resource planning, and production releases.
• Collaborate with RF/SI, product, mechanical, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality, applications, and customer teams.
• Drive design automation, DFM/DFA, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 8 years with a master’s degree, or 5 years with a PhD.
• At least 3 years of engineering leadership, technical leadership, or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of RF, microwave, and high-speed electrical design principles, including RF probe cards, RF interposers, test interfaces, substrates, or related semiconductor test hardware.
• Experience with PCB, thin-film, ceramic, advanced substrate, and SMT manufacturing technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional development projects and applying design methodologies, automation, Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action practices.
