Director, Verification – US & Europe

Location: Austin, TX; hybrid

Salary: $166,600–$309,400 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead IP, subsystem, and SoC verification across the US and Europe.
• Develop verification teams toward Gen-AI-based verification and build capabilities from the ground up.
• Guide skills development across MCU architecture, from IP through SoC, for multiple products.
• Establish verification foundations for clocks, reset, low power, interconnects, and wireless data paths.
• Collaborate with architecture, digital and wireless design, and backend implementation teams on formal, functional, and UPF-based verification handoffs.
• Improve the quality management system, process adherence, project quality, and resourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in chip design or verification.
• Strong industry knowledge of chip infrastructure and verification methodologies, including MCUs, memories, peripherals, interconnects, clocks, reset, and low power.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, mixed-signal design styles, analog integration, RNM modeling, chip boot flow, and security architecture.
• Strong experience with formal, functional, and UPF-based verification and coverage strategy.
• Experience managing teams and building verification capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI platforms such as Cursor or Claude.
