Manufacturing Technician 2 (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California, United States. Full-time onsite role. Regular shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am, with a 15% night-shift differential.

Salary: $22.10–$29.03 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Perform production activities in a clean-room environment while following safety, gowning, contamination-control, and quality procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor equipment and process data, make online adjustments, and maintain accurate production and equipment documentation.
• Partner with engineers on tests, trials, experiments, yield improvement, process enhancement, and new product development.
• Provide observations and data for root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Guide and train less experienced technicians and promote consistent adherence to operational standards.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related experience in operative or technician roles involving complex machinery or processes.
• Experience with clean-room operations and production equipment.
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, mathematics, documentation, and process tracking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, independent work, and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Manual dexterity and ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, and handle small or delicate components.
• Ability to work the specified overnight schedule in a clean-room manufacturing setting, including possible exposure to chemicals, microscopes, specialty tools, and precision measurement equipment.
