Process Technician V (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare wafers and reactors for experimentation and operate laboratory process equipment for thin-film processes.
• Prepare cross-section samples and operate scanning electron microscopes for SEM, critical dimension, and EDS analysis and imaging.
• Record process conditions and experimental observations, evaluate wafers and thin films, and optimize process recipes.
• Troubleshoot process systems, perform software alignment, routine maintenance, shutdown, and experiment setup procedures.
• Communicate requirements and results with requestors, coordinate wafer evaluations and instrument repairs, and publish Best Known Method procedures.
• Coordinate laboratory activities across shifts, support safety inspections and accessory-tool maintenance, and train junior technicians.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of SEM principles, sample preparation, wafer evaluation, process instrumentation, and data analysis.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with required personal protective equipment and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces and at height, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 35 pounds.
