Senior Executive Protection (Lead)

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States. Resident workstyle with up to 50% travel and availability for domestic and international assignments, including short-notice, extended, weekend, holiday, overnight, and irregular-hour work.

What you will do

• Lead close protection operations and serve as detail leader or senior agent-in-charge for executive travel, meetings, events, residential activities, aviation operations, and high-profile engagements.
• Plan and execute domestic and international protective advances, including route, venue, hotel, airport, medical, transportation, evacuation, communications, and contingency planning.
• Conduct protective intelligence collection, threat assessments, incident reviews, and investigations involving threats, harassment, stalking indicators, doxxing, suspicious activity, and workplace violence indicators.
• Lead security planning for corporate aviation, executive residences, offices, event sites, Board meetings, shareholder events, and dignitary visits.
• Develop operational plans, playbooks, SOPs, after-action reports, training materials, and program improvements while supporting vendors, procurement, technology, and contract security oversight.
• Direct or support emergency response involving medical incidents, evacuations, civil unrest, active assailant events, natural disasters, aircraft incidents, and crisis communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of advanced protective operations training and experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in law enforcement, intelligence, military, private-sector security, or executive protection, including at least 5 years of direct executive protection experience.
• At least 3 years as a lead agent, detail leader, advance lead, operational planner, supervisor, or senior field decision-maker.
• Experience with protective advances, travel security, executive transportation, site assessments, emergency contingencies, threat assessment, protective intelligence, or security investigations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Florida Class C, Class D, and Class G licenses, as applicable, and meet U.S. firearms, driver’s license, passport, transportation credential, and facility-access requirements.
• Must meet physical readiness requirements, qualify with weapons, maintain firearms proficiency, and operate for extended periods while wearing personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• ASIS CPP, PSP, CPO, or equivalent certification.
• Advanced executive protection, evasive driving, emergency medical, TECC, TCCC, or advanced first-aid training.
• Experience with OSINT, behavioral threat assessment, workplace violence prevention, intelligence analysis, or investigations.
• Experience with Kaseware, Echosec, CAP Index, ISOS Quantum, NexusXplore, access-control, video-management, visitor-management, incident-reporting, or case-management systems.
• Experience in multinational, Fortune 500, financial services, high-net-worth, public-company, or highly regulated environments.
