Tendering Engineer (Civil)

Location: Cairo, Egypt; full-time office role

What you will do

• Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare comprehensive direct and indirect cost estimates.
• Prepare bills of quantities, quantitative reports, material and subcontractor enquiries, tender schedules, and Level 2 schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, partners, and internal departments to obtain and evaluate quotations and specialist input.
• Assist with technical submittals, interfacing plans, DORs, BOQ splits, and joint venture or consortium tender documents.
• Prepare risk and opportunity analyses, selling price analyses, pricing estimates, and basic cash flow scenarios.
• Maintain estimation records and prepare internal and external presentations for clients and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar tendering or commercial engineering role.
• Experience with at least two completed projects of similar scope and complexity; international project experience is highly recommended.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Excellent English language skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
