Business Systems Analyst - Sr (Banking)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States, and visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $57,000–$113,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead complex initiatives and projects from discovery through implementation.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system requirements.
• Assess impacts across banking capabilities, backend services, vendor integrations, and downstream systems.
• Partner with product, operations, risk, compliance, technology, vendor, and business teams during solution design and implementation.
• Support test planning, UAT, defect triage, release activities, and requirements traceability.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements, automation, and modernization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product analysis, or a related area.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, managing requirements, mapping processes, and supporting testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders and managing multiple initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital banking or treasury management platforms.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools.
• Understanding of API integrations and service-oriented architectures.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with vendor integrations, third-party products, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
