Senior Java Developer (Telco)

Location: Budapest, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Design and develop Java-based backend microservices for network provisioning and orchestration.
• Build scalable, resilient distributed systems supporting 5G, FTTH/FTTC, IP Transit, and machine-to-machine workflows.
• Implement RESTful and event-driven communication and integrate complex business and network management systems.
• Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, technical mentoring, and modernization of legacy telco platforms.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java and microservice architectures.
• Expertise in REST API design and event-driven communication.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience, including data modeling, queries, and optimization.
• Ability to design and review software architecture for distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Leadership qualities and experience guiding development teams.
