Middle+/Senior Java Backend Developer (Java)

What you will do

• Lead the full development lifecycle from idea through production rollout.
• Develop and maintain the backend of a high-load application.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external services.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL queries and migrations.
• Optimize application performance and scalability across distributed systems.
• Test, debug, support, and improve code while collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and other teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, including Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Understanding of Apache Tomcat, Java multithreading and concurrency, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Production experience with Kafka in high-load environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests with JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging AI-powered coding assistants such as Claude for code generation, refactoring, and productivity.
