Senior Java Developer (AI)

Location: Brazil; remote home office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Integrate backend services with frontend components and external APIs.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and using Git.
• Proficiency in English for speaking and reading.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, microservices, Docker, and agile methodologies.
