Resident Engineer E/E Harness Design (Automotive)

Location: Greensboro, United States. Work takes place at hirify.global and/or customer locations, including vehicle assembly plants. Authorization to work in the USA is required.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer design information against customer and hirify.global requirements.
• Communicate with the customer’s technical department to clarify designs and resolve issues.
• Coordinate engineering changes and deviations, tracking and reporting status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify cost and efficiency improvements, including design for manufacturing and design-to-cost opportunities.
• Support design and quality activities such as design reviews, DFMEA, and design for manufacturing.
• Represent hirify.global in customer vehicle project teams and support build phases, assembly-plant troubleshooting, meetings, and customer requests.

Requirements

• Engineering degree; mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive electrical/electronics design.
• Basic knowledge of 3D CAD tools and E/E schematics.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Microsoft Office skills, teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel.
