Application Engineer

What you will do

• Apply engineering expertise to support sealing solutions, including O-rings and emerging electrification and eMobility technologies.
• Analyze warranty data, field performance, and teardown findings to identify root causes and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with materials, tribology, CAE, program management, and customer teams to solve technical challenges.
• Provide technical input during customer programs, component reviews, and program management meetings.
• Develop and update seal designs using 2D and 3D CAD tools.
• Lead or support corrective actions, plant quality alignment, VA/VE cost-reduction projects, customer training, and application support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
• Strong communication, organization, self-management, and prioritization skills.
