What you will do

• Set up and install molds in compression, transfer, and injection molding machines.
• Verify mold alignment, clamping, machine function, cycle settings, temperatures, pressures, and cure times.
• Perform machine changeovers and support tooling and die changes.
• Stage materials, inserts, and equipment for efficient production.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and process-related issues with maintenance and production teams.
• Perform basic mold and press maintenance, maintain setup documentation, and support productivity, quality, and safety improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in rubber molding or the plastics industry preferred.
• Understanding of molding equipment, tools, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, plus basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
