Production Technician II - Molding (Manufacturing)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $36,800–$46,000 annually

What you will do

• Set up molds, robots, thermolators, workstations, and injection molding machines according to defined requirements.
• Optimize molding processes within validated operating parameters and target cycle times; adjust equipment and troubleshoot production issues.
• Lead mold changeovers, establish cycle sheets, submit startup and mold approval samples, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Support operators and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Mold Shop, engineering, and other support groups to achieve production goals.
• Monitor and report production, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency, and shift performance; lead shift activities in the Supervisor’s absence.
• Lead LEAN, 6S, safety, GMP, process management, and continuous-improvement initiatives while keeping the department audit-ready.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant injection molding experience preferred.
• Mechanical proficiency, computer skills, problem-solving ability, and sound risk-based decision-making.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform Lockout/Tagout procedures; compliance with safety, GMP, GDP, and environmental health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime; stand and walk continuously, push or pull up to 100 pounds, and frequently lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of Routsis Scientific Molding Training and RJG Systematic I Molding certification is required during the role; RJG certification is a plus.
