Field Service Technician- Walmart- Hermiston, OR

Location: Hermiston, Oregon, United States; onsite at a Walmart customer location

Pay rate: $24.50–$28.50 per hour

hirify.global develops and services fuel cell products, including systems installed in electric lift trucks.

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cells at the customer site.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, evaluations, field retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support as required.
• Order parts and tools, maintain inventory, and complete service logs, incident reports, and system documentation.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydrogen storage, 480VAC, cryogenic liquid, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems as required.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
• General mechanical aptitude, strong technical and communication skills, independent work capability, and effective time management.
• Ability to provide a standard set of personal tools; specialized fuel cell tools are provided by hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
• Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
