Director of Operations Insurance Real Estate Consortium

Location: Hybrid, NYC midtown office at 1140 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY.

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 base salary per year, with potential bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the consortium operating model across service delivery, underwriting, finance, claims, captive management, analytics, governance, and technology.
• Establish workflows, roles, service standards, escalation protocols, dashboards, KPIs, and accountability routines.
• Lead operational readiness for new consortium launches, expansions, and program enhancements.
• Build implementation playbooks, onboarding frameworks, process maps, governance routines, and a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Oversee renewals, member servicing, certificates, invoicing, premium financing, stewardship, issue resolution, resource planning, and staffing alignment.
• Partner with executive leadership, sales, client executives, finance, legal, compliance, technology, and service teams to support growth and standardize delivery across programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, implementation, program management, insurance, healthcare, financial services, risk management, or a related client-service environment.
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional implementation or transformation initiatives.
• Experience building scalable processes, governance frameworks, reporting routines, and operational playbooks.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders, client-facing initiatives, cross-functional teams, resource planning, financial oversight, deliverables, escalations, and performance tracking.
• Strong project management, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to structure complex, evolving business models and coordinate multiple workstreams.
