Consulting Services Portfolio Manager (ERP)

Salary: $120,000–$204,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Act as the customer advocate and trusted advisor, aligning ERP solutions with business objectives and facilitating executive steering committees.
• Plan and prioritize ERP initiatives, maintain portfolio visibility, and develop customer-specific roadmaps based on ROI and strategic goals.
• Lead major billable ERP programs, ensuring delivery against contractual scope, timelines, budgets, and profitability targets.
• Manage forecasts, invoicing, margins, accounts receivable, resource allocation, and billable utilization.
• Identify and mitigate portfolio and program risks, lead change management, and track benefits realization.
• Monitor KPIs and communicate portfolio performance through dashboards, executive reviews, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, project management, or a related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of program or project management experience, including at least 5 years in ERP delivery.
• Experience managing billable programs with strong utilization and profitability performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale ERP portfolios and programs in global environments.
• Deep knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, hirify.global, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor.
• Financial acumen covering project and program P&L, benefits realization, and contract management.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile Portfolio Management.
• Strong executive presentation, negotiation, analytical, and customer communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
