Facilities Technician Specialist (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States. Onsite night shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am.

Pay: $37.15–$48.77 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform and oversee contractors conducting predictive and preventive maintenance on facility systems to maximize uptime.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, document, and support wastewater treatment and DI water systems.
• Monitor cleanroom performance and support operations according to Manufacturing and Facilities specifications.
• Use the Building Automation System to monitor equipment, correct malfunctions, and implement system changes.
• Maintain and repair building equipment, including HVAC and plumbing systems, and complete assigned facilities work orders.
• Respond to emergencies, manage regulated waste, and ensure safe operation in semiconductor FAB and laboratory environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems, HVAC controls, equipment maintenance, utility maintenance, and scheduled maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret operation and maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, engineering sketches, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Ability to handle, label, and oversee hazardous and universal waste in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous equipment, energies, chemicals, magnetic fields, and radiation sources in semiconductor FAB and laboratory environments.
• Ability to comply with applicable industry standards, building codes, regulations, and safe work practices.
