Senior VDC/BIM Engineer

What you will do

• Coordinate VDC activities and produce consistent BIM and VDC deliverables across projects and divisions.
• Create renderings, graphics, animations, site logistics plans, and pursuit materials in collaboration with pursuit teams.
• Set up background models, real-world and project coordinates, cloud collaboration workspaces, and model-sharing environments.
• Use site surveying, layout, reality capture, and existing-conditions data to compare construction conditions with design intent and produce accurate trade models.
• Conduct constructability reviews, identify and resolve coordination clashes, and support project coordination meetings and schedules.
• Develop modeling, detailing, as-built, facility operations, maintenance, layout, spooling, and fabrication deliverables while supporting field teams and training on VDC tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification with at least 3 years of design, engineering, or construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of industry-standard BIM software applications.
• Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, with the ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
