Area Service Manager - Atlanta (Facilities Management)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA; full-time role requiring travel to multiple locations within the geographic area.

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus a target annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage maintenance operations and provide leadership for on-site service teams across multiple properties.
• Monitor site inspections, vendor performance, service quality, turn times, expenses, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules, operating plans, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify property maintenance, building system, environmental health and safety, and capital project needs.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, vendors, property teams, internal departments, regulatory agencies, and local officials.
• Lead emergency response and disaster preparedness activities, including responses to fires and natural disasters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or business, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in property maintenance management.
• Working knowledge of facilities management, program implementation, budgeting, construction systems, HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation.
• Strong logistical planning, time management, prioritization, leadership, and team-influence skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing service team members.
• Ability to ensure compliance with property regulations, building codes, OSHA standards, Lead-Based Paint, termite control, ACM, REAC, and affordable housing requirements.
