AI Engineer

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.

What you will do

• Build production-ready agentic AI solutions, including autonomous reasoning, tool use, RAG systems, knowledge bases, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Develop Python software, shell automation, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, and deployment automation for AI systems.
• Own production deployment and operations, including monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Design portable, vendor-agnostic and multi-cloud AI architectures while balancing managed services and open-source alternatives.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions, support demos and customer presentations, and share knowledge with the squad.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python and scripting skills.
• 2+ years deploying and operating production systems, including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms; AWS is preferred, with awareness of multi-cloud environments.
• 1–2+ years working with LLMs, agentic AI, RAG systems, or production AI/ML systems.
• Experience shipping AI systems to production with full automation and monitoring.
• Ownership, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and a production-focused approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Strands, agent memory, evaluation, benchmarking, human-in-the-loop patterns, guardrails, and responsible AI.
• Telecommunications or enterprise IT experience.
• Experience with log analysis, operational intelligence, document processing, information extraction, or customer-facing AI delivery.
