TL;DR
AI Engineer (Life Sciences): Designing and deploying production-ready AI and machine learning systems for clinical research and drug development with an accent on scalable application integration. Focus on building end-to-end ML pipelines, implementing LLMs/RAG, and automating model lifecycles through MLOps.
Location: Must be based in Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, or Ukraine. Remote and hybrid options available.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy ML and deep learning models for production use.
- Build end-to-end AI/ML pipelines covering data preparation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Integrate AI capabilities into applications via REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop and optimize LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agents based on product needs.
- Optimize AI services for performance, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Implement MLOps practices to automate the model lifecycle and ensure reliability.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/C#.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Proven experience deploying AI/ML models to production environments.
- Experience building or integrating APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- English: B2 or higher required.
- Must be based in Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, or Ukraine.
Nice to have
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or RAG architectures.
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Understanding of data pipelines and streaming systems.
- Experience with model evaluation frameworks.
