What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level property and casualty insurance claims under close supervision.
• Support claims through investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution while following established procedures.
• Study policies, endorsements, forms, and insurance products to build foundational product knowledge.
• Communicate with agents, insureds, claimants, legal counsel, and third parties.
• Develop estimating and loss-adjustment skills using designated computer-based programs.
• Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses when required by law and complete the company claims training program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience in property and casualty claims handling.
• Ability to organize data, multitask, make independent decisions, and resolve complex issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and correspondence.
• Ability to handle mathematical problems involving geometry, sums, unit costs, and financial documents.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive an automobile, and a driving record meeting underwriting guidelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
