Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: State College, PA; field work required in the assigned territory. This is not a remote role.

Salary: $52,275 annually starting, with an hourly range of $25.95–$40.19.

What you will do

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage after accidents.
• Review insurance contracts and prepare vehicle repair estimates.
• Negotiate equitable settlements and resolve customer concerns.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Manage rental cars and support positive customer experiences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Customer-facing experience and high-volume call center experience with KPIs are preferred.
• An active adjuster’s license is preferred; training and exam fees are provided.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
