BAS Technician Helper (HVAC)

Location: Olive Branch, Mississippi, United States; full-time field work with travel as needed for projects.

What you will do

• Assist with installing BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, panels, VAV boxes, and other field devices.
• Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring for building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Support senior technicians during system startup, commissioning, checkout, and troubleshooting.
• Read basic wiring diagrams and installation drawings while learning HVAC systems, control sequences, and BAS front-end software.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite and follow site-specific PPE and safety procedures.
• Deliver professional customer service and maintain accurate project documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic hand-tool proficiency and ability to work in heights, mechanical rooms, and industrial environments.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate clearly with customers.
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background, drug, MVR, and physical ability screenings; reliable transportation is required if an MVR check is not applicable.
• Ability to travel as needed for projects.

Nice to have

• Hands-on BAS installation, checkout, or service experience, including DDC controls, low-voltage wiring, or device calibration.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
