Senior HVAC/Chiller Technician (HVAC)

Location: Ridgeland, Mississippi, United States. Field-based role with work conducted on-site at customer locations; overtime and occasional overnight stays may be required.

Hourly base pay: $31.62–$48.93 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing, programming downloads, startups, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance for assigned projects.
• Act as the direct customer contact and diagnose, repair, and service HVAC equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers on installation and repair requirements, materials, and site schedules.
• Use diagnostic software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Enforce high safety standards and maintain accurate records for company-issued and procured assets.
• Mentor team members and maintain flexibility for business-driven overtime and travel requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate from an accredited technical school.
• At least 10 years of experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, including in-depth chiller system proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• Ability to work at customer locations, including overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Nice to have

• Technical school or formal HVAC training.
• EPA certification, such as HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer certification.
