Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster (Hybrid)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance required two days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze medium-complexity workers' compensation claims, including litigated files.
• Collaborate with agents, policyholders, employees, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims.
• Identify coverage, determine compensability, review documentation and legal pleadings, and communicate coverage issues.
• Evaluate damages, establish accurate reserves, negotiate settlements, and develop proactive action plans.
• Engage and monitor external resources while controlling claim-related costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education.
• At least three years of experience handling medium-complexity workers' compensation indemnity claims.
• Ability to obtain required state licenses, with expertise in Arizona workers' compensation and ideally Utah, Texas, and Colorado.
• Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 10% and travel daily between locations.
