Fundamental Skills Clinical Nursing Instructor

Location: Addison, Illinois, USA; in-person clinical teaching in the Chicago, Illinois area

Salary: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience

What you will do

• Mentor BSN students during inpatient clinical experiences and connect classroom and simulation learning with real-world patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences, supervise students directly, and evaluate their nursing performance.
• Develop clinical assignments and provide timely, documented feedback, remediation, and support.
• Orient students and maintain knowledge of clinical site policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Contribute to curriculum implementation, program assessment, retention efforts, and college development.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff, faculty, and clinical personnel while maintaining regulatory compliance and reporting student or agency concerns.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of registered nursing practice experience within the last five years.
• Professional nurse licensure in Illinois is required.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and prudent judgment.
• Ability to work in person at an inpatient clinical setting in the Chicago area.
