Infrastructure Engineer (DevSecOps)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States. A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary: $104,000–$190,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Orchestrate and execute over-the-air software deployments to globally fielded systems operating in DDIL connectivity environments.
• Automate software deployment and security to reduce field service travel and improve fleet operational availability.
• Monitor deployed software health remotely and identify failures before they affect missions.
• Build and maintain Docker images, including hardened images, and integrate builds into delivery pipelines.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters, manage workloads, RBAC, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Linux systems and enterprise networks across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.

Requirements

• DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent certification, or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and systems administration.
• Strong production Linux administration experience with RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
• Experience with virtualization platforms, network security principles, Cisco networking equipment, and troubleshooting across network and system layers.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, network infrastructure, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, intrusion prevention, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.

Nice to have

• CCNA or a higher Cisco certification.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Scripting experience with Python or Bash.
