Senior-Level DevSecOps Engineer (AWS GovCloud)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage approximately five DevSecOps engineers while providing technical direction and remaining hands-on.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS GovCloud environments for DoD and civilian agency applications.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
• Lead production incident response, monitoring, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• US citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• 7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Security+ and AWS Certified Security certifications.
• Strong AWS GovCloud expertise and knowledge of federal frameworks including RMF, NIST 800-171/53, FedRAMP, STIGs, and Zero Trust.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, AWS security services, and automated security testing.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and security enforcement.
