People Generalist

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Toronto Support Office, Canada

Annual salary: $97,200

What you will do

• Execute employee lifecycle processes and coordinate people initiatives for supported business units.
• Support employees and managers with HR processes, inquiries, employee relations matters, and union negotiations where applicable.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, manage Assessment Centers, and support onboarding for Store Management teams.
• Organize and facilitate training, including culture and values programs, and follow up on performance and development activities.
• Manage succession planning and talent pipelines for Department Managers and Sales Advisors.
• Analyze people metrics and prepare reports covering headcount, turnover, training, hiring, and fair-working-environment KPIs.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Ability to analyze data and produce accurate HR reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
