People Lead (HR)

Location: Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada; onsite at 450 Mcneely Ave

Salary: Minimum CAD 20.85 per hour

What you will do

• Support the Store Manager and leadership team with recruitment, hiring, staffing, scheduling, attendance, performance, and succession planning.
• Develop and implement HR practices and action plans aligned with business needs.
• Support associates through communication, training, ethical practices, and hirify.global’s core values.
• Promote the adoption of technology services and digital solutions in store operations.
• Build stakeholder relationships, identify business needs, monitor results, and improve processes.
• Advise leaders and associates on HR programs, policies, compliance, and best practices.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to support human resources functions in a store environment.
• Ability to collaborate with managers, associates, customers, and business partners.
• Ability to apply company policies, ethics, integrity standards, and HR best practices.
