Global Laboratory Manager (Medtech)

Location: Lyon, France (HQ Gerland); full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Define, coordinate, and deploy the global laboratory strategy across hirify.global sites in France and the United States.
• Lead the Global Laboratories Team and directly oversee the Central Laboratory within BU Services.
• Align business units, plants, and QC laboratories while supporting Laboratory Unit Managers across regions.
• Oversee quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence across laboratory activities.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budget planning and monitoring for BU Services laboratories.
• Drive continuous improvement, share global best practices, and foster collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a scientific field such as physical measurement, mechanical sciences, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• 8–10 years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of GLP, ISO 17025, COFRAC, or similar standards.
• Experience in multicultural, cross-functional environments and global or regional coordination is beneficial.
• Strategic mindset, autonomy, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Excellent English required; English is the day-to-day working language.
