QC Sample Management Technician (Life Sciences)

Location: Rensselaer, New York, USA; onsite, 1st shift Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Salary: $22.50–$23.50 per hour, plus a $50 flat-rate weekend shift differential for Saturday shifts.

What you will do

• Verify and review sample submissions against Quality Control requirements.
• Receive, label, organize, and store samples according to established procedures.
• Deliver samples to Quality Control laboratories accurately and on schedule.
• Perform routine temperature, environmental, and CO₂ monitoring and document results.
• Support compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety, and other quality standards.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.
• Interest in or exposure to a cGMP-regulated laboratory environment.
• Strong accuracy, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Availability for the Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.
