Lead Field Service Technician (Fuel Cells)

Location: Monroe, Ohio 45050, United States; full-time onsite work at the designated customer site

Pay rate: $24.50–$25.50 per hour

hirify.global develops and services fuel cell products and hydrogen systems for electric lift trucks and customer sites.

What you will do

• Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fuel cells installed in electric lift trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, field retrofits, and software and hardware upgrades.
• Support high-pressure hydrogen storage, delivery, fueling systems, pads, dispensers, and compressors.
• Create service documentation, incident reports, work orders, inventory records, and daily beginning- and end-of-day reports.
• Maintain site performance, including hydrogen pressure above 5,000 psi, truck availability, inspections, audits, and 5S standards.
• Communicate with customer personnel and service management while mentoring and guiding technicians onsite.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and provide a standard personal tool set.
• Ability to use a multimeter, follow technical procedures, complete inspections, handle parts and work orders, and perform lockout/tagout activities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management, independent working, safety, and problem-solving skills; willingness to respond to off-shift needs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
• Experience with hydrogen systems, fueling nozzles, HPTT, cascade valves, and GenDrive stack replacement.
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and related service-system experience.
