Assistant General Counsel, Client Solutions & Wealth Management

Location: New York, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $178,690–$293,560 per year in base pay, with potential eligibility for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.

hirify.global is building a high-performance Law Department supporting its insurance and wealth management businesses.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and counsel on Client Solutions & Wealth Management strategies, innovation initiatives, and individual markets business.
• Advise on the distribution of individual insurance products and support the broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, and advanced markets teams.
• Interpret and help implement new distribution and wealth management laws and regulations.
• Draft agreements with distribution partners and support the succession of general agencies.
• Represent the practice group with internal stakeholders, external forums, and cross-business partners.
• Provide compliance guidance, address emerging challenges, and assess the impact of industry changes and best practices.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in life insurance and/or wealth management.
• Juris Doctor degree and a license to practice law in New York.
• Ability to address complex legal and business issues and communicate effectively with leaders at all levels.
• Experience working in a dynamic, hands-on, fast-paced environment and supporting complex subsidiary organizations.
• Strong research, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, collaboration, and business judgment skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
