Maternal Child Clinical Faculty (part-time), Tulsa, OK

Location: Onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Clinical teaching most commonly involves 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing in clinical settings and implement course objectives, curriculum requirements, and program outcomes.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students providing nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, documented feedback and remediation.
• Orient students to clinical agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Prepare clinical assignments, grade coursework and clinical documentation, and support limited didactic teaching under supervision.
• Collaborate with course coordinators, faculty, administration, clinical agencies, and healthcare professionals on student and program outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Oklahoma.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
