Electrician/Electronics Technician 3 (Manufacturing)

Location: Greensboro, NC; full-time, 1st shift

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in machinery and equipment.
• Design circuit layouts and wire new test setups for production and test programs.
• Install strain-gauge circuits and recording instruments to measure test article performance.
• Verify electrical test conditions and troubleshoot test equipment during test programs.
• Train and mentor employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of constructing, installing, operating, and troubleshooting sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Ability to work with intricate safety interlocks and warning systems, anticipate danger signs, and respond quickly to prevent equipment damage and delays.
• Skill using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Relevant military electrical experience may include Air Force 3E0X1, Navy CE, Marine 1143, Army 12R, or Coast Guard AET.
