Machine Builder (Automation)

What you will do

• Build, fabricate, and assemble custom machinery and automation equipment.
• Interpret mechanical fabrication drawings and provide feedback to the mechanical design team.
• Perform precision fabrication with hand and power tools, including welding steel components.
• Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Wire electrical panels from schematics and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, installations, and training-related travel of up to 20%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Intermediate ability to read part and assembly drawings.
• Mechanical, electrical, welding, and machine-building skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on and beneath machines while maintaining a steady pace.
• Experience with CNC machines and familiarity with automation equipment and testing procedures.

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
• Experience accepting direction and completing tasks independently or as part of a team.
