What you will do

• Design, develop, assemble, integrate, test, and maintain robotic and automated electromechanical systems.
• Support robotic platforms and automated manufacturing systems used for proprietary oligonucleotide synthesis.
• Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, pneumatics, motion controls, PLCs, and embedded controllers.
• Create mechanical and electrical designs, schematics, wiring layouts, assemblies, and bills of materials using SolidWorks.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process engineering, software, and R&D teams on prototypes, upgrades, documentation, and scale-up activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, robotics engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of industry experience in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical and electrical design.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, motion control, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, motor controls, and embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with equipment assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robotic systems and robotic assembly.
• Experience with biotech, life science, or laboratory automation equipment.
• Familiarity with machine vision and smart manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with embedded controllers and microcontrollers.
