Production Assembler (Pumps)

Location: Exton, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Assemble pumps, machines, equipment, and subassemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Install and test moving components such as shafts, levers, bearings, gears, and drive couplings.
• Fabricate metal structures, baseplates, and coupling guards by sawing, cutting, welding, and grinding.
• Drill, tap, and ream holes; align components and fasten them with bolts, screws, or rivets.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.
• Support other shop activities as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar field.
• High mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on assembly work.
• Competence with various machines and hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, manage time efficiently, work independently, and solve problems using common sense.

Nice to have

• Welding experience.
• Machining experience.
