Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; Bozeman, Montana, USA. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate.

What you will do

• Support business development for mine water services.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Provide oversight and prepare client deliverables and technical documents.
• Manage projects and provide program leadership.
• Delegate responsibilities and mentor staff.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of consulting experience in project management, program leadership, and business development for mine water services.
• Advanced education preferred in mining geochemistry, hydrogeology, chemical engineering, or environmental engineering.
• Technical excellence in the relevant discipline, with proficiency in discipline-relevant models and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional licensing credentials and the ability and motivation to mentor staff.
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience.

Nice to have

• M.S. or Ph.D. in mining geochemistry, hydrogeology, chemical engineering, or environmental engineering.
• Interest in innovative and sustainable mine waste management and water treatment methods.
