Senior Water Resources Project Manager

Location: Hybrid in Hampton Roads, Chantilly, Newport News, or Richmond, Virginia, United States

What you will do

• Manage and perform engineering work for water resources projects, primarily supporting municipal clients throughout Virginia.
• Provide technical leadership and assistance across projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare project proposals.
• Mentor engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in water resources, including hydrology and hydraulics.
• 10+ years of experience performing and managing water resources projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, or able to obtain a Virginia PE license within 3–6 months.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using SWMM, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS; 2D SWMM experience is preferred.
• Experience with client service management, FEMA floodplain management, ArcGIS mapping and data analysis, and contract and task order management.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory DMV record check, and insurability required.
