TL;DR
Sr. Facilities Electrical Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing): Supporting and improving critical electrical infrastructure and facility control systems for semiconductor manufacturing operations with an accent on power distribution, industrial controls, and facility automation. Focus on designing and troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems, leading utility and expansion projects, and improving reliability for 24/7 manufacturing activities.

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States; onsite day shift

What you will do

  • Support the operation, maintenance, reliability, and upgrades of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
  • Monitor power infrastructure, analyze capacity and demand, identify reliability risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead or support capital projects, including scope definition, specifications, budgets, schedules, and commissioning.
  • Design, program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-based control systems and SCADA/Wonderware platforms.
  • Integrate HVAC, chillers, boilers, exhaust, vacuum, compressed air, and water treatment systems.
  • Support production issues, equipment startups, qualification, root cause analysis, safety compliance, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with 8+ years of related experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience with electrical power distribution, industrial controls, PLC troubleshooting, and facility engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience with SCADA/Wonderware, Building Management Systems, utility infrastructure, power quality monitoring, and electrical system studies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with Facilities, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, EHS, Quality, Construction, vendors, and contractors.
  • Experience with semiconductor, electronics, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environments.

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Familiarity with Siemens controls platforms.
  • Experience with facility system integrations and automation projects.
