Software Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend software for a national security customer project.
• Integrate AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Batch, EC2, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, IAM, DynamoDB, and container services.
• Gather mission needs and convert them into technical requirements for sponsor consideration.
• Analyze browser network traffic and unknown software code to understand and reproduce behavior.
• Transform data between formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML.
• Develop software testing harnesses and continuous testing methodologies.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Deep software development experience, including Python and efficient backend programming in at least one additional language other than Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with systems administration, Linux installation from scratch, complex Unix shell scripting, operating systems, and networking.
• Demonstrated AWS CDK experience is required; CloudFormation, Terraform, and similar tools are not substitutes.
• Experience documenting and communicating technical and non-technical mission requirements across organizational boundaries.
• Experience developing software tools, analyzing client/server communications, and solving collection needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, JADX, or APKtool.
• Experience with multiple cloud providers.
• Additional programming languages beyond Python.
