What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship scalable technical solutions across hirify.global services, building deep system ownership.
• Document architectures, run experiments, and prototype to validate approaches.
• Lead code reviews, mentor others, and ensure high availability and performance at hirify.global scale.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to prioritize and deliver projects.
• Maintain live services on rotational on-call, implementing mitigations for complex issues.
• Foster team empowerment, ownership, and belonging.

Requirements

• 11+ years in Software Engineering or equivalent with production experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python (or degree-adjusted experience)
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other security screenings
• Excellent written communication for asynchronous, distributed global teams.
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software at scale.

• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Production system monitoring and observability.
