2nd Shift – Production Supervisor (1:30 to 10 pm)

Salary: $71,200–$92,600 annually, plus eligibility for the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program.

What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations and the performance of approximately six or more employees on the second shift, from 1:30 to 10:00 pm.
• Plan and assign work, control manpower and materials, monitor schedules, and manage departmental performance measures.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, morale, inventory, and delivery priorities.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, quality, profitability, and reduce scrap and rework.
• Coach and develop employees, coordinate training, maintain timekeeping records, and address performance, disciplinary, and employee-relations matters.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Planning, QA, technical teams, and other supervisors on inventory, quality, safety, process, and new product introduction issues.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and experience with a business planning and inventory system.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5P, or other continuous improvement models, including participation in related projects.
