Data Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA. Employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested; remote work is allowed when compatible with client and company needs.

What you will do

• Assess and advocate for data management technologies and practices, closing gaps between current and target states.
• Develop strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, delivery, and information stewardship.
• Evaluate solution options, explain architectural trade-offs, and recommend solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and development teams to maximize the value of enterprise data.
• Develop technical and consulting capabilities through teaching, mentoring, and influence.
• Contribute to thought leadership, business development proposals, solution design, and work-plan estimation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing on-premises and cloud data management, integration, visualization, and analytics technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, storage, relational modeling, SQL, and Python.
• Experience designing modern data architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of real-time data technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, DataFlow, and Airflow.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and modern data warehouse tools, including Snowflake and Databricks.
• Ability to connect architectural recommendations with business needs, client culture, data governance, security, privacy, and policy requirements.
